A Tribute to Fashion Icons
Alexander McQueen. Mcqueen has descibed his work as " eclectic verging on the criminal mind." He graduated fom Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, in 1992. His aproach toward design is aggresive which was apparent in his collection 'Jack Ripper Stalking the Victims' and his 1996 collection 'Highland Rape' "where he dressed women in bloody, tattered lace dresses." Mcqueen does have a mellow, elegant side which can be seen in his work for Givenchy. Although he is sometimes accused of having bad taste his work will continue to influence for generations to come.
