Ugly Betty has shed her ugly duckling look this for a more chic image on this season of Ugly Betty. Reportedly the change is a trial to see how the audience will react to Betty’s new image. Betty has gotten a complete makeover her eyebrows are arched, braces removed, and her fashions are somewhat chic. So what do the Ugly Betty fans think of Betty’s new image? I like Betty’s new look but I’m not sure if the new image somewhat defeats the theme of the show being that beauty is in the inside and that one should be able to achieve on the basis of hard work not looks. I also see that the Betty’s style metamorphosis was inevitable considering that she works in an industry where image is everything. What better time for this metamorphosis than Betty’s promotion to associate features editor at Mode. Chic Betty could be here to stay.

I like Betty's new look. It's nice to see her become more dynamic with her style progress. It'd be terrible if the creators and ward-robing made her remain static. She works for a fashion magazine, after all! :-)
